How Much Value Does a Treehouse Add to Your Property?

Who knows?  Probably zero.  Treehouses don't really have anything to do with the value of your property, but every little kid would beg their mom and dad to buy the house with the great yard and treehouse, right?

What kid doesn't want a clubhouse?  Their own private retreat where they can let their imaginations fly.  Even better yet, one that's nestled in the trees. Boy or girl, every kid loves a tree house . . . and building one could be a great summer project for a child to participate in with mom and dad.

It doesn't need to be elaborate.  You can build a treehouse out of scraps of wood and other materials that you can easily get your hands on for nothing or next to nothing.  Of course, you need to have a plan of some sort, some basic carpentry skills and the right tools.  You also need to have a yard that is private enough so as not to offend or disturb the neighbors.

Here is a link to get you inspired.  There are some really fun ideas here.  No special talent required.  http://kidsactivitiesblog.com/66119/25-extreme-tree-houses-kids
